Songs & Ballads of the West Album

This is a series of ayres, or tunes recorded in the book 'Songs and Ballads of the West'. The songs in this book were collected by Rev. S. Baring Gould MA, and Rev. H. Fleetwood Sheppard MA, from singers living in the west of England - Devon and Cornwall, in the Early 20th Century. I have here tried to be faithful to the tunes, though I have changed the key in many cases. Tunes are played on the 'penny whistle'.
