Bunch of friends who play all sorts: psychedelia, lo-fi synthpop, bedsit folk, library music, cut-ups etc etc... All of us write, sing and swap instruments. A proper cottage industry since the 1990s. Unifying lyrical themes include left/green politics, self-excavation, love of the nervous outsider, and bodily fluids, underlined/undermined by fluff, surrealism and formal experiments. Andy often plays acoustic guitar, bass, 80s keyboards, and programs using Jeskola Buzz. Bob often whacks the drums and chimes, plays keys or wild lead guitar. Luke often plays electric guitar, mellifluous flute or lapsteel. Caroline often toots and honks on clarinets and recorders. Keshcologists need hugs, trees and cups of tea. Especially after any attempted live performances. Keshco have released many EPs and albums, many not online. We've been through comedy film phases, but since 2021, are terminally distracted by non-profit radio station, Beware! The Radio - the only UK-based Pacifica , bringing sounds and perspectives from around the world. This station needs all the it can get - it's sent me half-mad. Luckily, the same half that was already mad from 30 years of hawking Keshco to empty rooms and empty websites.
Related bands include Bleak House, Vile Brain Samples, Nice Scream and Andrew Walton - go to our Keshcology Bandcamp for the up-to-date releases:

If you liked any of the music, tell your friends! Better, tell the general public. They always seem to get left out by these Creative Commons initiatives. The hashtag #ccmusic - absolute tumbleweeds.
We know nobody has any money, but if you're feeling weirdly lavish, any tips would make us pathetically grateful. We're not ed financially in any way by labels or management, and we've given a lot of music and ideas away for free. Comments are also really welcome. When you give a lot of things away, including some very personal songs, positive comments can make all the difference. If you're even half-tempted to say something nice, say it. Don't assume anyone else will. No, really! We get about one nice comment a year from all sources combined. Your gives us the confidence to share more music for free use; and your donations allow us to spend more time putting more of our creativity into each release.
It was exciting for a while to see all the varied uses filmmakers made of our tunes. Tailed off, of course, when the Free Music Archive started changing hands. Another promising avenue throttled. Anyway, we're happy if you want to soundtrack your college film with something of ours - do let us know.
